God has a great plan for our lives and his plans are greater than ours.
For I know the Plans I have for you, "declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

How big is your God?
Did you ever wonder, does it say to say negative about our situation? Does it question your belief in God? Did Bible ever asked you to rationalize every thing in life? Since God knew your nature as you are dust, he doesn't have any feeling of resentment but rather sympathy for you. We all have real feelings. Bible exhorted us to be patient in saying but swift to listen. Unless your reaction to God was deliberate attempt to question His authority and ability He didn't have any problem to deal with us. In 2 Chronicles 20 we read about the story of King Jehoshaphat. He was in a cross road. The enemy was approaching to capture his nation. He was afraid. He knew the limitations of his army. He found out that it was humanly impossible to win the war against them. He went to God and confessed all his negative feelings to God. God didn't say any thing badly about his confession. God understood his pathetic situation. God honors the king of Israel. Jehoshaphat also showed his integrity to God. Instead of murmuring about his present condition,, the king gathered priests and Levites and started to praise God. So he kept the balance of expressing the real feeling without questioning God's power. He acknowledged his powerlessness against enemy's power. He didn't end up there. He told his helplessness in finding out his own schemes to win this war. So he asked God for direction, power and strategy. Instead of hiding in to a "shell" of discouragement he found shelter in the presence God. He believed that God is worthy of praise. What else good God expected from your in your sad situation. He is the very present help in trouble. As soon as they started to praise God, He sent ambush against the enemy and final victory attained by God for His people. Friends it is OK to say your real need in your own language and way. Though it looked like negatives if you would showed forth your utter dependence on God will take charge. Our God will never be embarrassed by your innocent expression of feeling. Come to Him just as you are.
