God has a great plan for our lives and his plans are greater than ours.

For I know the Plans I have for you, "declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

Obedience

How beautiful it is! Obedience is better than sacrifice. This means we cannot camouflage our sinful life with mere sacraments. Gods calls us to be holy. If holiness is your pursuit of life we have to be on alert all the time. We can not play God on Sunday and live like hell on all other days. Obedience to God gives us peace of mind. Satan will not defeat us if we keep our life in harmony with the Lord. The burden of guilt will not haunt us if we really be in the center of God's will. Jesus Christ always helps us to build our life. On the other hand Satan is trying to deceive and destroy us. The Bible says that we have to flee from sinful thoughts and behavior. There is no need of bargaining with it. What would have been our response if we were in the shoes of Joseph in the house of Potiphar as a slave? The Bible says that God was with Joseph. Joseph paid a great price to keep his integrity to God. What a Great War he won though he lost his battle being a servant in that house. Yet the Bible says that even though Joseph lost his job, he didn't lose his God. Friends, what is more precious to us? There are two roads to tread; the road to destruction or destiny. Two paths are before us to choose either the narrow one or the broader one. We can build our foundation on sand or rock. The bright or gloomy destiny depends on our choice. Sin is bait to deform us. But Christ is our Savior whose image we can conform to. It all depends upon our decision moment by moment on whose side we will stand and also will decide where we will end up, either perish in eternal fire or live with eternal life. So it is a life and death situation. Struggles will be there. How beautiful it will to be with Jesus. Though we may forsake the friends, pleasures for a while, what a great day it will be when we all get to heaven. Keep on staying right with God and say Yes to the Lord and No to devil the deceiver.
